Siliconiom, together with sponsors PwC, Continent 8 Technologies and Acclaim, have launched the Isle of Man Entrepreneur Challenge with the aim of assisting Isle of Man based entrepreneurs to gain backing.
Entrants are being sought for the challenge that will aim to identify the island’s brightest new business ideas and support taking these ideas to the next level.
The challenge is open to entrepreneurs of all ages and business sectors. If you are setting out on your first steps in business or are an established company looking for the opportunity to pitch for further support, then this could be for you. For the winning entrepreneur there is an exciting and valuable business support package on offer from the sponsors.
What do you need to do
If you think you have a business plan or project that is exciting but could do with added backing then simply fill in the entry form that guides you through the process. Isle of Man Entrepreneur Challenge – Entryform
We are not looking for complex business plans, what we want from you is a concise compelling entry that will wow the judging panel.
There is no limit to your propositions needs. However, it is the most realistic applications that are likely to be shortlisted.
Closing date for entries is the 28th February 2014; full entry details are on the entry form, which you can download here.
Shortlisted entrants will be notified on the 14th March 2014 and will need to be available on the 17th April 2014 to present their pitch to the judges in an 8-minute pitch.
The winning entrepreneur will be invited to present their pitch to an audience of potential investors on the 19th May 2014
