Our Isle of Man data centre is a purpose-built Tier-3 facility located in the island’s capital, Douglas.

We connect the Isle of Man directly to our core global MPLS backbone using high-capacity diverse connectivity to our global peering and PoP locations. This means that in the event of a carrier cable failure, Continent 8 is resilient and able to continue to deliver services via separate carrier cable systems.

In the Isle of Man, connectivity is provided via multiple 5Gbe and 10Gbe circuits on three diverse routes over the Vodafone and MUA cable systems. These circuits terminate into separate London & Dublin POP’s where IP and MPLS services are located.

Vulnerability Assessment

Isle of Man regulations and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) require audits of operators’ information systems to ensure system integrity, risk identification and mitigation. C8 Secure offers this service to customers as a professional services engagement to demonstrate compliance and aide in resolution.

Defensive Infrastructure

In today’s world of rising cybersecurity incidents, it is important to protect the infrastructure from malicious acts such as DDoS attack. Continent 8 has a comprehensive L3-7 fully integrated global protection service to meet this requirement.

Intrusion Detection & Response

PCI DSS requires the ability to detect cybersecurity events. Continent 8 offers IDS and IPS capabilities via its Network as a Service (NaaS) firewalling service, as well as a managed endpoint detection and response solution.

Application Protection

As iGaming and Sports betting platforms expand their integrations with partners and introduce new applications and features, the risk of vulnerabilities increases due to broader exposure of web applications and APIs. Continent 8 WaaP (WAF) capability provides minimum OWASP top 10 protection and other comprehensive capabilities to guard against malicious bots and both known and emerging vulnerabilities as required by PCI DSS.

Intrusion Resolution

Demonstrating resolution capabilities is recommended by PCI DSS. Continent 8 can leverage its Managed Security Operations Center (MSOC) to collect, categorise, and manage the resolution of intrusion threats in customers information systems. Utilizing existing customer logging capabilities as well as fully integrating with all our cyber solutions: WaaP, MDR, IDS/IPS and DDoS.
